About

St. Marys Malankara Orthodox church is located at Thottupuram, a small village near Prakkanam situated around 6 kilometers west of Pathanamthitta district headquarters. Built on August 30, 1914 (Chingam 14, 1090) in the name of mother St. Mary by a group of Syrian orthodox families, the church was renovated and consecrated by the Catholicose H.H. Baselious Marthoma Mathews I on January 14, 1983.
